All we can say is thank you...this hasn't been the easiest of times, but your prayers are making all the difference. We know and trust that our great God has a perfect plan for us and has the most wonderful child picked for us. It could be this one or another one...only time will tell. But thank you from the bottom of our hearts...seriously.
We haven't heard anything yet, so we are just patiently waiting...ha. :)

Michelle, I wanted you to know that your 1960 Christmas Story post inspired my family to Adopt-A-Family for Christmas this year. We don't have any "needs" and there are many who do. So we adopted a single mother of 4 girls instead of giving presents to each other. Each child gets 2 presents, which they need such as shoes, pajamas, and basic clothes, and we will put together a box of food for Christmas dinner along with a Turkey. We went through the Phoenix Rescue Mission to make sure it was a legitimate needy family. All because of your inspiration!
