Last night we received a message from Kiley that Zach has chosen to SIGN the adoption papers!! We're one major step closer to a daughter in May! Please pray that he has peace in his decision and doesn't change his mind. We'll call our attorney on Monday and get the papers drawn up and get them to him...then we have to wait until baby is born plus 48 hours in which either of them can change their minds. May God's will be done!
Another huge prayer request for us...
We are signed up to take classes in March to get our foster license...however, something has come up with a little 6 month old baby boy that may become available on Wednesday, and we are praying about whether or not we are supposed to up the timing to take him in. I found classes that would work beginning this Tuesday night for orientation, Thursday and Friday for CPR/First Aid, then the next 2 Saturday and Sundays for PRIDE Training. It could work if we are supposed to do it...we just don't know whether we are. There is a high probability that he could become property of the state and would be available to adopt in the near future. Please join us in our quest for direction! We are completely open to what God wants, even if it does sound a little crazy to have a 9 month month old and a newborn! :) But wherever God guides, he provides...right?
Also, please pray for some friends of ours who recently lost their baby that was due in August...they're doing ok, but more prayer doesn't hurt!
