Finally! An update! Sheesh...

Our attorney called this morning and gave us an update. At this point they are still undecided, but the hospital has not given a release of information on the baby at this point. We DO know however, that he may have some health issues due to the mom's high blood pressure at birth. He could likely be in the NICU for up to another 10 days, but again, because there is no release, we don't know. Our attorney said there could be anywhere from brain damage to a perfectly healthy baby, but it is uncertain at this point. He said to just lay low and put it on the back burner until we hear something. He said it's definitely not off, but everything is just uncertain. There is still some drama going on within the family, and as we don't know the true health of the baby, it could bring up a whole other slew of issues. It is confirmed though that they are covered under state health insurance, so if indeed something does pan out, that wouldn't be a road block for us. We could get a call in a week or two, but in the meantime, our lives are back to somewhat normal. :)

Please be praying for this little man, that if indeed he does have health issues that our heavenly father would heal him and make him whole. Continue to pray for peace for the family, especially regarding the circumstances, and wisdom for the doctors as they care for this precious baby.
