We found out today from our friends that Kiley is considering two families for the adoption of her little girl due in May; us and another childless couple. She is writing up her questions for us at the moment and will be contacting us within the next couple weeks to set up an interview with each couple. She liked our portfolio, but thought maybe it'd be a good idea to look at a couple other families as well. When she went to Special Delivery to look at other portfolios, ours was one of them out of the families that fit her profile desires so she got to see us again. :)
I don't know any depth of it, but apparently the birth dad has been causing some issues, so please be praying for that. She is a very timid, shy person, so be praying for her confidence as she goes through the interview process. I can't imagine what she must be feeling, but not having a lot of confidence would make it a lot harder!
We'll keep you posted as things progress...thank you so much for your prayers! We are looking forward to "Presentation Sunday" (See January 5 Post) for encouragement and renewed hope! Our parents and some friends are planning on joining us...if you'd like to come as well, let us know!
