Last year Josh and I, along with our best friends, went to a service at Cedar Park Church in Bothell called Presentation Sunday. You can read more about here: http://www.cedarpark.org/specialdays/presentationsunday/, but the long and short of it is that they set aside this Sunday (the last Sunday of January) every year... to pray for couples desiring to have children. The success stories are numerous and miraculous. You can read some of them here: http://www.cedarpark.org/specialdays/presentationsunday/stories01. Obviously we didn't conceive or have an adoption go through (yet), but our friends who went with us did conceive (after years of trying) and their beautiful baby girl was born on December 3, 2009. We are going again, because if nothing else, it is amazing to be in the company of so many who are feeling the same thing and receive some encouragement and hope. Story after story are told and hope is renewed when you see the testimony of beautiful babies born from the prayers! We invite you to join us or attend on your own. Service times are at 9am and 10:45am...I think we are going to the 9am.
